Parts Interpreter Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Parts Interpreter to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in helping customers and mechanics locate the correct parts for their machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist customers and workshop staff in identifying and sourcing parts.
* Order and procure parts from suppliers or warehouse stock.
* Provide expert advice and support to ensure seamless part delivery.
* Manage orders, part numbers, and stock levels with precision.
* Handle returns and warranty claims efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Strong customer service and communication abilities.
* Organizational and detail-focused mindset.
* Proficiency in using computers (email, Excel, inventory systems).
* Current driver's license (forklift license an asset).

Job Details:
* Full-time position, 38 hours/week (7.6 hours/day, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm).
* Saturday mornings on a rotating roster.
* After-hours call-outs (approximately 1 week/month, once trained).
* Must live within reasonable distance of the dealership for after-hours response.
