Deputy Principal

Based in Cundletown, just outside of Taree, Manning Valley Anglican College (MVAC) is one of four schools forming part of Newcastle Anglican.

Overview
The Deputy Principal is to support the Principal and Executive in both the strategic and day-to-day leadership and management of the school.
The role leads strategic initiatives aligned with the school's vision and values, with delegated responsibility for areas including teaching and learning innovation, staff management, professional development, and quality improvement.

Essential Criteria:
* Post-graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline focusing on leadership or education (preferred).
* Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
* Experience in leadership in an independent school environment.
* Experience in school leadership, or a role providing support and leadership in an independent school environment, or equivalent experience.
* A strong commitment to inclusion, and to the mission, vision and values of Newcastle Anglican and Lakes Grammar An Anglican School
* Supports the Principal and acts in their absence.
* A member of the Anglican Church of Australia, or Christian church affirmed by the Bishop.
* NSW Working with Children Check
* National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
* Be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our team.
