We are seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Mental Health Care Coordination Team, where recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and client-centred care is at the heart of everything we do.
About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological assessment, treatment and care coordination to adults experiencing moderate to severe mental illness, including individuals receiving care under the NSW Mental Health Act 2007.
Working within a multidisciplinary community mental health team, you will deliver evidence-based interventions, contribute to care planning and case management, and collaborate closely with consumers, families, carers, General Practitioners and partner services to support sustainable recovery outcomes.
In this role you will:
* Provide comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation and treatment planning for adults with complex mental health presentations.
* Deliver evidence-based psychological therapies in individual and group settings.
* Participate in care coordination and clinical review for clients who are voluntary or on Community Treatment Orders and/or Forensic Orders.
* Respond effectively to clients presenting in crisis situations.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including nursing, medical, allied health and administrative staff.
* Contribute to outreach, prevention and early intervention initiatives within the community.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within electronic medical records.
* Provide supervision and support to interns, psychologists and clinical psychologists within an agreed framework.
* Participate in quality improvement, teaching, training and research activities aligned with service priorities.

About You
We are looking for a dedicated and recovery-focused clinician who brings both strong clinical expertise and a collaborative mindset. You will have:
* A four-year degree in Psychology and a Master's degree (or higher) in Clinical Psychology, or another AHPRA-endorsed area of practice deemed relevant.
* Current full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist.
* Endorsement in Clinical Psychology, or eligibility to enrol as a Clinical Psychology Registrar.
* Demonstrated experience in conducting standardised psychological assessments.
* Proven skills in CBT or other evidence-based psychological interventions for adult mental health clients.
* The ability to exercise independent clinical judgement in complex and dynamic clinical environments.
* Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* A commitment to working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* An unencumbered Australian Driver's Licence.
