Position Summary
The Estimator / Sales Consultant role combines estimating, business development and client relationship management. You will handle enquiries from initial contact through to securing the sale, working closely with the Senior Estimator to identify opportunities, prepare quotations, conduct site inspections and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming enquiries from private and commercial clients.
* Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather information for quotations.
* Meet with prospective clients and build strong working relationships.
* Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for civil construction projects.
* Follow up quotations and actively pursue opportunities to secure new work.
* Coordinate with operations and project teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
* Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales and delivery process.
* Keep accurate records within company systems and CRM platforms.
* Represent the business professionally at all times.
Career Opportunity

About You
* Previous experience in civil construction, estimating, sales, project coordination or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build rapport with clients and develop long‐term relationships.
* Excellent organisational and time‐management skills.
* Knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Proactive approach to identifying and securing opportunities.
* Confidence conducting site inspections and client meetings.
* Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Minimum Requirement

Desirable
* Experience within civil construction, asphalt, bitumen, road maintenance, earthworks or related industries.
* Understanding of construction contracts and project delivery processes.
