Our client is a well-established educational organisation committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences supported by robust technology infrastructure. The ICT team plays a vital role in ensuring seamless digital operations across the campus, supporting both staff and students. 
Your new role 
We are currently seeking a Level 1 ICT Support Technician to join the team on a contract until the end of Jan 2026. This role involves providing technical support across hardware, software, and network systems, with a strong focus on maintaining service continuity and minimising disruption to teaching and learning. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Provide Level 1 support to staff and students 
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues across hardware, software, and networks 
- Escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership of service requests 
- Maintain and update ticketing systems and documentation 
- Align work with service level agreements and ICT policies 
- Participate in proactive and project work during school holidays 
What you\'ll need to succeed 
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field (preferred) 
- ITIL Foundation certification (strongly encouraged) 
- Prior experience in a support role 
- Strong customer service and communication skills 
- Familiarity with Mac systems (80% user base) and Windows (20%) 
- Excellent time management and attention to detail 
- Experience in an education environment is a plus
