We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Midwives to join the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Casual Pool.

Where you\'ll be working
As part of the NSLHD Casual Pool, you will provide high-quality midwifery care across the full continuum, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services. Flexible shifts are available, offering you the opportunity to balance professional and personal commitments while contributing to the health and wellbeing of our community at the following sites:
* Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) – St Leonards
* Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital (HKH) – Hornsby
About The Role
The Registered Midwife provides woman-centred, evidence-based care in line with the ANMC National Competency Standards for the Midwife (2006). You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and, where required, consult and liaise with obstetric, medical, and other health professionals as outlined in the ACM National Midwifery Guidelines for Consultation and Referral (PD2010_022).
Please note: NSLHD Casual Pool staff are required to work a minimum of two shifts per month to maintain their position in the pool.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
* Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (APHRA)
* Demonstrated ability to practise as a midwife across antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal care, lactation, and infant feeding within a multidisciplinary tea
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and a commitment to maintaining and enhancing midwifery skills.
* Basic computer literacy and the ability to use electronic health information systems.
