Management Accountant
Seeking a Management Accountant to focus on Budgeting, Forecasting, and Performance Analysis to support strategic decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing
The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing, developing, and analysing financial information to support effective decision-making, planning, and control. Key responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and financial statements. Analyse financial performance and variances against budget, and provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts with department Directors.
Cost Management:
Maintain cost accounting systems and perform cost analysis.
Process Improvement:
Continuously improve financial processes and reporting systems. You'll also assist in the development of financial models and business cases.
Compliance & Audit:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies and support internal and external audits.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with department heads to improve financial outcomes.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a professional who meets the following essential and desirable requirements:
Bachelor's degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
CPA, CA, or CIMA qualification
(desirable).
Experience:
A minimum of
2 years management accounting experience
, with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Software Proficiency:
Expertise in
MS Office
and experienced with large ERP systems.
Analytical Ability:
Strong investigation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyse complex issues using data.
Work Management:
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
