Assistant Dairy Farm Manager

Join a Leading Corporate Dairy Operation. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Dairy Farm Manager to join our well-established corporate dairy farm in Northern Victoria. This is an exciting prospect for a motivated and capable individual who can support the Farm Manager in all aspects of modern dairy operations.
About the Role:
You will be an all-rounder with a strong understanding of both dairy herd management and feed production. However, there would be job focus on either feed or dairy upon discussion. Alongside hands-on farm work, you will have the ability to take on key administrative and organisational duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
About You:
Proven experience in dairy farming (preferably in a large or corporate farm setting); excellent English communication skills – spoken and written; knowledge of feed production and pasture management; competent with computers and farm management software; strong organisational and problem-solving skills; able to work both independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment; early hour shift required on roster base with farm manager to supervise mixing or milk operation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily dairy operations, herd health, milking, and feed management
Oversee and participate in feed growing and pasture management
Maintain accurate stock records and complete regular stocktakes
Prepare and process purchase orders, arrange invoices, and manage farm office documents
Use farm management and inventory systems effectively
Support the Farm Manager with planning, reporting, and staff coordination
