About the Role
As a Water & Wastewater Operator/Technician with Council, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable and compliant water and wastewater services to the community. Working across treatment plants, pump stations, storage systems and reticulation networks, you will contribute to both operational and maintenance activities that keep essential services running.
Whether operating in an entry‐level Operator capacity or providing technical oversight as a Technician, your work directly supports public health, environmental protection and service continuity.

What You Will Bring to the Role
* Class C drivers licence
* Construction Induction Certification (White Card).
* Certificate III or IV in Water Industry
* Confined spaces certification
* Liquified chlorine gas awareness training
* Fluoride training

Other details relating to this position are
* Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
* The positions are grade 5-7 in Council's salary system.
* Gross weekly wage range is $1190.00 to $1453.20 dependent upon the plant operator role, qualifications and experience.
