About the Role
Qantas is looking for three End User Support Technician (Field Desktop) positions across Brisbane, Canberra, and Adelaide Airports. The role delivers high‐quality technical support to ensure seamless end‐user experiences and enhance productivity. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues; providing deskside and kiosk support; and creating knowledge articles. The position requires full‐time onsite work, Monday‐Friday duties with a 24/7 on‐call rotation, a valid driver's licence, personal vehicle, and occasional domestic travel.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems when required. This includes Windows 11, Office 365 Suite, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, Basic Networking, Airport Peripherals/Technologies, and MDM/Intune.
* Provide enhanced incident support to end users following escalation from the Service Desk or other support teams.
* Deliver deskside and kiosk support services to end users.
* Create, review, and maintain knowledge articles and support documentation to assist team transactional activities and enable the Service Desk to manage requests and incidents effectively.
What you'll bring to the table
* Demonstrated experience providing desktop/field services within an enterprise‐level organisation.
* Sound knowledge across technologies including Active Directory, Office 365, SCCM, Citrix, Windows 10, and Azure Desktop.
* Experience working with Apple products and/or completed Microsoft or vendor‐based courses.
* Experience using ITSM systems (ServiceNow highly desirable).
* Positive attitude, proactive, self‐motivated, and curious individual eager to learn, grow and expand technical skills.
* Strong customer service focus and professional communication skills.
* Ability to work onsite, five days per week with a 24/7 on‐call rotation.
* Australian driver's licence and reliable car (expenses claimable).
