We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organised Front Office Coordinator /Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and supporting our operational flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient enquiries, and manage bookings/appointment scheduling.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, including payments and insurance claim processing using HICAPS.
- Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Manage daily administrative tasks: email correspondence, filing, office supplies, etc.
- Maintain reception area presentation and ensure a clean, organised, welcoming environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in dental reception, dental nursing or allied health / medical front office roles (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – caring, friendly, professional
- Robust organisational abilities, attention to detail, ability to multitask.
- Comfortable with technology – experience with dental practice management software advantageous
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and during busy periods.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent patient service.
