About the Role
Reporting to and working closely with a supportive Chief Finance Officer, you will be required to carry out all aspects of the accountant role, including:
* Overseeing accurate completion of daily Accounts transactions
* Reconciliations of all major accounts
* Manage financial relationships with customers and suppliers
* Completion of month end transactions and monthly financial reports
* Management of payroll
* Management of Insurances
* Compliance and lodgment of all tax requirements including BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT
* Cashflow Management
* Assisting with new system implementation
Skills and Experience
Ideally the role would suit someone with up to 3 years' experience in a similar role, or alternatively a recent graduate (or near graduate). A degree (or close to) in accounting is essential.
Working in a small team means you will need to be reliable and dependable, willing to take on all required tasks and collaborate effectively with others. You will show initiative and enthusiasm, be adaptable and able to work independently. A willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and good organisational skills are a must.
