We’re looking for a commercially minded and analytically driven Senior Procurement Analyst – Insights & Category to provide end-to-end financial and analytical support to our procurement and sourcing teams. About the Role As the Senior Procurement Analyst – Insights & Category, you will play a key role in influencing procurement strategy by developing commercial models, leading performance tracking, and delivering powerful insights that drive value creation. You'll be the go-to commercial partner for sourcing initiatives, tender analysis, and performance reporting across multiple categories, while also leading a small team of analysts. Key Responsibilities Deliver commercial and financial analysis across product categories, tenders, spot buys, and sourcing events. Provide clear recommendations on category strategy, supplier performance, and pricing opportunities. Lead the commercial review of supplier agreements and contract terms. Track procurement performance and report on realised value vs. forecasted outcomes. Develop and manage financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, SQL). Guide and mentor a team of Procurement Analysts, managing workload and ensuring high-quality outputs. Support procurement planning and the CGA budgeting/forecasting process through accurate data modelling. Collaborate with business development teams on client tenders, bid costing, and commercial structuring. What You’ll Bring Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement analytics, commercial finance, or category management. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; working knowledge of Tableau, SQL, and Access preferred. Strong knowledge of product pricing principles, cost modelling, and sourcing strategies. Exceptional analytical and data interpretation skills with attention to detail. Ability to present insights and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is a plus. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, Economics, or a STEM field; CPA/CA desirable.
