Mansfield Steiner School is seeking a qualified and experienced IBDP Diploma Program and Secondary Literacy Support Teacher with a strong understanding and ability to integrate both the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) and Steiner education pedagogies. **Responsibilities**
- Teach IBDP English and Provide Secondary Literacy Support
Deliver engaging and rigorous English instruction to IBDP and secondary school students, incorporating the principles of Steiner education to foster creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth. Provide tailored literacy support to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Plan and Prepare Lessons
Develop well-structured lesson plans and literacy interventions that align with the IBDP curriculum and Steiner education pedagogy. Create a supportive and dynamic learning environment that nurtures students' academic and personal development.
- Assess Student Progress
Use a combination of formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning in both English and literacy. Provide constructive feedback to guide individual progress while adhering to the values of IBDP and Steiner frameworks.
- Support Individual Student Needs
Identify and address the unique literacy and language development needs of each student. Provide targeted support to ensure all students achieve their potential while fostering their overall well-being.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification in English education.
- Experience teaching English at IBDP/VCE and secondary school levels, with an understanding of Steiner or Waldorf educational approaches preferred.
- Proficiency in supporting literacy development across diverse student groups.
- Strong knowledge of IBDP curriculum and Steiner education principles, or a willingness to train in both.
