About The Role
As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients. You will develop and maintain patient care plans, liaise with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to provide coordinated patient management, provide assessment of patients and coordinate outpatient and inpatient treatments.
This is a Permanent Part Time opportunity working 30 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday.
Responsibilities
* Provide quality clinical care to patients and develop patient care plans
* Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team for coordinated patient management
* Assess patients and coordinate outpatient and inpatient treatments
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
* Australian Citizenship for Commonwealth Security Clearance purposes
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum of 12 months Post Graduate experience within the last 5 years in an acute care, primary health care, or military setting (or part-time equivalent)
* Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
About Amberley Health Centre
RAAF Base Amberley, the largest Air Force Base in Australia and approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane city. It provides operational and maintenance support for the precision strike element of the Air Combat Group, F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to over 6500 RAAF members. The standard operating hours are generally Monday – Thursday (depending on role requirements), and a half day (5.5 hours) Friday.
