Unreal Fur is a Melbourne-based designer outerwear label with a global following. Since 2011 we have been creating fashion-forward faux fur and outerwear with a commitment to craft, cruelty‐free materials, and a distinct brand identity.
We are looking for a commercially minded Ecommerce Coordinator to take ownership of our digital retail operation. You will manage the day-to-day health of our Shopify ecosystem, drive performance through merchandising and analysis, and work across marketing, merchandising, and customer service teams reporting into the Head of Ecommerce.
THE ROLE
Shopify & Partner Site Management
* Own day-to-day operations across our Shopify DTC stores. product uploads, content updates, collection builds, and ongoing QA
* Maintain product catalogue integrity: accurate copy, imagery, metadata, and pricing across all markets
* Identify and implement UX and merchandising improvements that lift conversion and average order value
* Manage the site calendar including launches, promotions, and seasonal transitions
Wholesale & Online Retail Partners
* Manage relationships with key online wholesale accounts (Farfetch, The Iconic, and others). handling product uploads, content, and sell-through performance
* Coordinate partner onboarding for new‐season ranges, ensuring assets and data are delivered on time and to spec
* Monitor partner performance and flag risks or opportunities to the wider commercial team
* Build and maintain regular trading reports covering DTC and wholesale channel performance, sell‐through rates, and top and bottom SKU analysis
* Surface actionable insights to inform ranging, replenishment, and promotional decisions
* Liaise with Merchandising and Planning on data needs for seasonal review and forward planning
* Execute the online merchandising strategy: collection sequencing, product editorial, campaign landing pages, in line with brand direction
* Collaborate with the creative team to brief and organise digital assets for launches and campaigns
* Monitor on‐site search and navigation performance and implement improvements to discoverability
Digital Advertising Management
* Support the Brand Manager and agency partners with paid channel activity across Meta, Google, and Affiliate. asset preparation, briefing, and performance tracking
* Lead bi‐weekly performance calls and map out launches, flows, and marketing funnel strategies for revenue increase
Experience & Skills
* 3‐4 years in an ecommerce, digital merchandising, or online trading role. fashion, apparel, or consumer goods strongly preferred
* Confident Shopify user with hands‐on experience managing a live store (themes, metafields, collections, apps)
* Strong analytical skills. comfortable in Excel or Sheets, building pivot tables, interpreting sell‐through data, and presenting findings clearly
* Experience with wholesale and CRM platforms (Cin7) and online marketplace integrations is a plus
* Working familiarity with paid digital channels (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) at a coordination level
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar. enough to manage basic asset production and resizing
