ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Services, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering exceptional nursing care through thorough assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs;
* Maintaining high-quality, evidence-based care within a safe and supportive environment;
* Fostering effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams;
* Collaborating with patients and their loved ones in care decisions to ensure patient-centered outcomes;
* Acting as a clinical leader, mentor, and educator for junior staff and students.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current AHPRA registration;
* Previous cardiac nursing experience (Graduate Diploma highly regarded);
* South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance;
* Strong leadership skills with a commitment to professionalism and positive workplace culture;
* Dedication to continuous quality improvement and exceptional patient care;
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities;
* Sound knowledge of National Safety and Quality Service Standards and relevant healthcare policies;
* Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment;
* Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends.

REMUNERATION
A competitive salary ranging from $42.37 - $53.04 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) in line with industry standards.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Adelaide, is a modern 152-bed acute facility providing a range of specialties, including obstetric, cardiac, critical care, orthopaedic, surgical, and medical services. The hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an Infusion Suite, a 24/7 Cardiac Emergency Service, and a 10-bed level 3 critical care unit.
