You will be part of a six member team who are responsible for delivering first class operations at Cairns Airport.Reporting to the JUHI Manager, the JUHI Operator is a critical role in airport operations whilst maintaining the facility which is the single source of fuel supply to the airport. With an eye for detail, you will direct and maintain safe and efficient operations and be prepared to complete required activities to deliver on specification fuel to the airport.This is a hands on role working 32.4 hours per week. Shift hours are Monday to Sunday inclusive from 04:00 – 13:15 or 12:45 – 22:00 (or until the last aircraft departs as flight schedules dictate). The roster is 4 days on, 4 days off rotating.ResponsibilitiesSafe and accurate delivery of products to customers within expected timeframesQuality control testing of road transported aviation fuel along with airside fuel quality sampling and testingEngage in tasks at elevated heights, including accessing the roof of on-site storage tanksManual handling tasks and some repetitive lifting is requiredDeliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a high performing teamWork with minimal supervision once appropriately trainedQualificationsStrong commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) practicesAttention to detail with a strong work ethicStrong communication skills with a positive outlookDemonstrate mechanical aptitudeReliable transport and current drivers licence (minimum two years full licence)MR/HR Class Licence (or willingness to obtain)Current Dangerous Goods Licence (or willingness to obtain)Willingness to obtain Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Drivers AuthorityFlexibility to cover changing workload demand within an airport over a 24 hour operation which will include weekend workAdditional InformationAbout Viva EnergyJoin a team that values diversity.
