- Oversee routine equipment checks, quality inspections, and implement a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) plan for all plant and site equipment.
- Analyse and improve plant equipment utilisation and procedures, identifying and resolving faults and breakdowns.
- Manage maintenance activities, including repairs, upgrades, and stock control of supplies and spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including proper induction and training of external contractors.
- Supervise internal maintenance team and coordinate external contractors for specialised work.
- Liaise with Project Manager, Team Manager, Team Leader, and EHS team regarding site requirements and maintenance needs.
- Monitor maintenance costs and create purchase requisitions in SAP for maintenance requirements.
- Support the Site Manager in site projects and overall maintenance strategy.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in industrial/manufacturing environment with mechanical systems and equipment
- Qualified Electrical or Mechanical trade certification
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schemes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in maintenance software and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work independently
- Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
