About the role: With its long-standing history in the equine industry, Total Animal Supplies aims to deliver fast and efficient service to their customers and that's where you come in. We're looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant with an interest of customer delivery to join our Ballarat Warehouse team.
Your daily duties will involve but will not be limited to:
* Picking, Packing & Dispatching of orders to a high standard and pick rate.
* Assist with all stock control processes, including receiving inwards goods, cycle counts etc.
* Work with the team to achieve stock integrity through stock replenishment, date expiry checks, stocktakes etc
* Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles, and using other equipment as necessary such as forklift (if licensed)
* Secure cargo for transport, using straps, gates, or covers
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including daily housekeeping initiatives.
* General warehouse duties as directed
* Manual labour & repetitive lifting throughout your shift
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Previous warehouse experience in a similar role
* A strong work ethic, being reliable & punctual
* A current forklift license is ideal
* Strong accountability, taking ownership in finding solutions
* The proficiency to work unsupervised and as part of a friendly, passionate, and successful team.
* The ability to lift up to 25kg repeatedly is a requirement

As part of the recruitment process, you will:
