Disability Support Worker
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
* Providing support with hygiene and personal care
* Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
* NDIS Clearance - You must already hold a valid NDIS Clearance to be considered for this position
* First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months)
* National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
* Complex care training - manual handling, bowel care, hoist, transfers, medication administration
