We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manager to join our Bendigo Store in a permanent full‐time position. You will be provided with uniforms, training and paid above award rates.
The Bendigo opening hours are Monday to Friday (no nights).
Responsibilities
* Ensure the Bendigo store operates safely and effectively at all times.
* Deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales, revenue, profit targets and increased market share.
* Assist customers face‐to‐face and over the phone, keeping them informed of promotional activity and understanding their business needs.
* Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storage or inward goods.
* Use pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling.
* Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation to required standards.
Qualifications
* Strong customer‐service background in a store environment – hospitality, retail or similar.
* Demonstrated high level of competence in managing retail store operations.
* Sound working knowledge of safety management and improvement.
* Ability to multi‐task, prioritise and work to deadlines.
* Strong people‐management and customer‐engagement skills.
* Physical capability to lift up to 32 kg.
We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder who will work alongside a great team, providing an exceptional in‐store customer experience. Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must. Engage with customers from the construction industry and assist them with their needs.
