Job Description
Payroll Officer
Our payroll team is expanding to support our continued growth, which is why we're looking for someone to step into this newly created role. You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll across our corporate restaurants and Hola Central team keeping our people supported and our systems running smoothly while ensuring compliance and accuracy at every step.
What you'll do
As Payroll Officer, you'll process fortnightly and off-cycle payroll runs, including terminations and adjustments, and ensure employees are onboarded and offboarded correctly. You'll reconcile pay files, resolve queries quickly, and maintain accurate records. You'll also prepare payroll and superannuation reports, manage STP submissions to the ATO, support audits, and handle workers' compensation claims. Beyond the day-to-day, you'll manage the payroll inbox, keep our process documentation up to date, and provide guidance to internal teams and franchisees, ensuring compliance with Awards and time & attendance system rules.
What we're looking for
1-2 years' payroll experience in a multi-site environment
Strong payroll systems knowledge (Preceda, Dimensions, Tanda, Ichris)
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Ability to interpret Awards and ensure compliance
Clear, professional communicator with a detail-focused approach
