Senior Quality Engineer (SQE) – Salesforce & PlaywrightMelbourne (Hybrid – 3 days in office)CloudMarc is a specialist technology consultancy delivering high-impact Quality Engineering, Automation, and Cloud solutions to tier-1 enterprises and fast-growing digital businesses.We're currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer (SQE) with strong Salesforce experience and modern Playwright automation skills to join a high-performing delivery team based in Melbourne.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys owning quality end-to-end and working closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders.What you'll be doingOwn and drive quality across Salesforce-based platforms and integrated systemsDesign, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using PlaywrightExecute and lead UI, API, integration, and regression testingContribute to test strategy, planning, and estimationWork closely with developers in Agile squads to support shift-left testingIdentify defects, manage test data, and ensure high-quality releasesCollaborate with stakeholders and provide clear quality insights and reportingWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Senior Quality EngineerStrong hands-on experience testing Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or similar)Solid automation experience using Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript)Experience testing APIs and integrations (REST, JSON, Postman, etc.)Strong understanding of Agile delivery environmentsAbility to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsNice to haveCI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.)Experience with data validation and backend testingSalesforce certificationsExposure to performance or security testingWhy CloudMarcWork with tier-1 clients and complex, meaningful platformsHybrid working model – 3 days in the Melbourne officeHigh-trust, delivery-focused consulting environmentStrong engineering culture with real investment in quality
