People & Culture Advisor
Main Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering responsibilities:
1. Act as the P&C representative for relevant business units by actively partnering with business leaders.
2. Provide business partnering expertise for allocated business units and drive people practices.
3. Support in and implement organizational engagement strategy and organizations.
4. Provide advice and consultation on performance, talent management and employee relations and other P&C topics to line management and employees.
5. Support with organizational restructures or other significant changes.
- Engagement & Culture
6. Support global and regional Engagement Activities to ensure successful participation across all Pacific business units, including working closely with managers around action planning to improve engagement within their teams
7. Act as the P&C representative for employee Committees such the Staff Committee and Women's Network to drive and support social initiatives
8. Drive innovative wellness programs across the Pacific region.
9. Drive Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in order to promote CSR activity across AU NZ.
10. Drive D&I initiatives across the Pacific region.
11. Organize and support ad hoc engagement events & celebrations, such as monthly mingle activities, Christmas party and work closely with B&F (building & facilities team) to ensure things run smoothly.
- Internal Communications
12. Act as the primary P&C internal communication specialist using a variety of platforms I.E Poppulo, Canva and PowerPoint.
13. Owning the creation and continual maintenance of the P&C SharePoint.
- Talent Acquisition Support
14. Supporting recruiting activities for Amadeus within the Pacific region.
15. Support in the full recruitment cycle and work closely with the talent acquisition team for relevant business groups.
16. Completing relevant visa checks, and conducting interviews where required for business units.
- P&C Administration & other activities
17. Support the maintenance of P&C SharePoint site and email inbox
18. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment in managing sensitive situations and information.
19. Management of local WH&S initiatives including remote working assessments and any required follow up actions.
20. Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business
21. Be the local point of contact in Pacific region for any training request and work with the Bangalore training team on these specific needs.
22. Support the Head of P&C, Senior P&C advisor and the talent team with the annual promotion process I.E. Keeping the promotion list up to date, and being an assessor during the process.
23. Preparation of employee letters and other documents where required.
24. Supporting the performance review process.
25. Support with policy management and implementation
Relevant Work Experience:
26. 3+ years experience within People and Culture in a multinational, matrix organization.
27. Experience within one or more areas: Talent Acquisition, Employment and Labour regulation & talent management.
28. Previous experience with reporting & HRIS tools viz., Workday, Lever etc
29. Proven ability to build rapport with employees and managers at all levels
30. Experience in organizing workplace initiatives and events will be an asset
