Role overview:
We are supporting a federal client with the delivery and support of secure, high availability Linux and AWS environments. This role involves the support and implementation of Linux and AWS platforms and services, automation, performance and security monitoring.
We are ideally seeking a permanent engagement, with a competitive salary on offer for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities:
* Administration and maintenance of Linux systems, including patching, configuration and performance tuning
* Management of AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambdas and workloads
* Implementation and management of security controls
* Continuous improvement of infrastructure, automation and security
* Documentation of technical processes, system builds and workflows
To be successful, you will have the following experience and qualifications:
* Extensive experience in Linux and AWS systems administration, within federal government or defence
* Expertise in AWS services, such as EC2, Lambda, S3 and Backup Services
* Automation and Orchestration tools, including Ansible and Semaphore
* Monitoring and Logging tools, such as Grafana and ELK Stack
* Strong knowledge of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Information Security Manual (ISM), and Essential Eight, with the ability to provide guidance on secure application and system design
* Australian citizenship and a minimum NV2 clearance
