The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Family Law, the Manager, Family Safety is responsible for:
* providing strategic leadership and oversight of integrated legal, allied health services and administrative staff supporting clients impacted by domestic, family, and sexual violence.
* driving the performance and coordination of multidisciplinary teams across specialist programs to deliver high-quality, client-centred outcomes.
* ensuring service delivery excellence through effective governance, compliance, and alignment with organisational priorities and legal obligations.
* embedding trauma-informed and evidence-based practice across programs and fostering strong partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* leading clinical governance, professional supervision, and the integration of psychosocial and legal services.
* contributing to strategic policy, service innovation, and continuous improvement to strengthen Legal Services' system-wide response to violence.

Salary Range
LSC5 - $144,353 to $157,681 salary plus 12% super and leave loading. Please note: An Enterprise Agreement has been proposed with voting to take place in January 2026, for further information please speak to Human Resources on
As a not-for-profit organisation, Legal Services offers its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) each year for general living expenses.

What You Need for Success
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold an unrestricted Category C Practising Certificate or eligible to apply for an unrestricted Category C Practising Certificate.
* Be admitted or eligible for admission as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia and High Court of Australia.
* Have a minimum of eleven years post admission legal experience in a relevant legal field.
* Have proven experience leading, mentoring, and managing multidisciplinary teams, including legal and allied health professionals, to achieve organisational objectives and deliver high-quality client outcomes.
* Have demonstrated experience in strategic and operational management, including program planning, service coordination, and performance management within a complex service delivery environment.
* Have experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership development with government, health, and community agencies to deliver integrated and trauma-informed services.
