We are currently partnering with an established, reputable, privately owned Australian business who supply SMB and Enterprise Government businesses with reliable Telecommunication and Data services. They have been established for more than 20 years and have experienced YOY growth and success. Due to further anticipated growth this FY, they are seeking experienced Sales professionals to join their Melbourne operation.
As the Sales/Account Manager, your primary focus will be to increase monthly revenue, from both an account portfolio which you will inherit, and new customers. You’ll conduct business development activities in the form of calls, and in person meetings to promote the businesses solutions to a broad range of businesses across Australia, build and maintain a pipeline of new customers whilst maintaining relationships with existing customers for upsell and cross sell opportunities and ensuring contract renewal.
This is a hybrid role which will allow you the autonomy to develop your customer base and manage your call/meetings cycles accordingly. You’ll be given the training and back-end resources to be successful in your role in addition to ongoing support from your line manager.
What experience is required?
Ideally, you will have solid B2B sales experience from the Telco/Tech sector, with demonstrated success of winning new customers in a solution focused sales cycle. You’ll also have proven ability to hunt and win new customers, and increase share of wallet from an existing client portfolio. We’re looking for accomplished sales professionals that are confident, professional in their approach, with the key ability to build relationships and understand technical products in order to fulfil customers Telecommunication requirements.
Candidates with sales experience in a particular vertical i.e Hotels, Schools, Retail, Hospitality etc will also be considered.
