Volunteers Needed – Walk to Fight Parkinson’s

We are looking for volunteers to give us a hand at the 2024 Walk to Fight Parkinson’s event. We have a variety of roles to cater for any age, fitness level and availability. No special skills, experience or training is required, just your enthusiasm and willingness to help!
We will need two groups of volunteers: Event Village volunteers and Course volunteers.
Event Village volunteers:
* Start / finish line - Drink station, marshalling at both start and finish line.
* Registration assistants - Helping participants check in, get their bibs, help co-ordinate the bag drop station.
* Site operations - Assisting with site operations, logistics etc.
Course volunteers:
* Course Marshal - Volunteers will be placed around the course to cheer and encourage participants during their walk/run/ Nordic Walk and guide them in the right direction.
* Drink Stations - Assist at drink station and to cheer participants. Assist with set up and pack down.
Please note:
* Shifts will vary with commencement times ranging from a 7:30am/8am start (TBC) All volunteer roles will conclude by approximately 1pm.
* Volunteers are required to be 18 years of age or older
