Healthcare Policy Strategist
Overview of the Role:
The Healthcare Quality Intelligence team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced policy analyst to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in policy development, data analysis, and project management. They will be responsible for leading key initiatives that support healthcare quality and safety improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and lead data analysis activities that inform policy decisions and drive meaningful improvements in healthcare delivery.
* Provide expert advice on clinical quality and safety improvement opportunities.
* Contribute to the development of policies and strategies that enhance healthcare outcomes across Tasmania.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
* Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote policy initiatives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Significant expertise and experience in policy and data analysis, review, research and evaluation.
* Proven project and change management skills including planning, managing risk, coordinating resources, interpersonal relations, the ability to influence people and time management skills.
* Demonstrated capacity to effectively contribute to a high performing team, including the ability to be adaptable and flexible, work under pressure, cope with competing priorities and ambiguity, and role model this behaviour to other team members.
