The Role

The VCE Chemistry Teacher will be based at our Caulfield campus, working with engaged and capable students across all year levels.
It's a chance to bring science to life in a way that's meaningful, relevant, and exciting.
This is a permanent, full-time position, commencing 1 January **** and we're seeking someone genuinely excited about chemistry and brings clarity and creativity to the classroom
Key Duties
Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research-based knowledge of how students learn, including integrating formative practice and providing continuous feedback
Prepare instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities for all
Provide a safe and supportive classroom culture
Contribute to our visible wellbeing program to enable students to thrive and belong
Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
Skills and Experience
Hold a current and valid VIT Registration
Hold a Teaching Qualification alongside exceptional knowledge in Scienceand Chemistry
Experience teaching VCE Chemistry is highy advantageous
Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Ability to connect positively with students and show genuine care for their learning
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
