Sales Operations Analyst – Retail & E-commerce (global consumer technology vendor)

This position is with a global consumer technology vendor who specialise in network and connectivity technology around the home.
Are you a detail-oriented professional who loves the intersection of data, retail, and digital marketplaces? We are looking for a commercially minded Sales Operations Analyst to become the operational engine behind an Australian sales function.
Reporting directly to the Australian Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing the sales strategy across major national retailer, eCommerce, distribution and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels. This isn't just a support role—you are the "central nervous system" that ensures their products are in the right place, at the right price, with the right promotional backing to win.

Your Mission
Your goal is to provide the Sales Manager with the "clear air" needed to focus on growth and relationships by owning the day-to-day execution.
Key Focus Areas:
* Retail & Amazon Mastery: Own the operational lifecycle on Amazon (SKU setup, stock health, pricing) and track sell-in/sell-through performance across the biggest brick-and-mortar partners.
* Operational Backbone: Manage the "nitty-gritty" of sales—new product setups, price list integrity, and monitoring Stock on Hand (SOH)
* DTC & E-commerce Support: Act as the guardian of the DTC store, managing coupons, bundles, and promotional mechanics while measuring ROI on every dollar spent.
* The "Source of Truth": Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts that provide clear visibility of trends across all channels.
* Cross-Functional Glue: Work at the heart of the business, coordinating between Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution.

About You
You are someone who finds satisfaction in a perfectly tracked spreadsheet and a flawlessly executed promotional launch. You are proactive, reliable, and comfortable navigating the fast-paced world of retail and e-commerce.
What you'll bring to the table:
* Proven Experience: A background in Sales Operations, Commercial Coordination, or Account Support.
* Channel Knowledge: Prior exposure to major retail accounts or the Amazon Marketplace ecosystem is highly regarded.
* Technical Savvy: High-level Excel skills are a must. Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, or similar BI tools will give you a major head start.
* Analytical Mindset: You don't just report numbers; you understand what they mean for the business.
* Communication Skills: The ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with clarity and professional ease.
