About the School Box Hill High School is a newly established school proudly serving the growing and diverse community of Box Hill.
The new school will open on a temporary site on Day 1, Term ****** for Year 7 students sharing a site with the Box Hill Public School on George Street, Box Hill.
Box Hill High School will be an exciting and dynamic new educational setting committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and innovative learning environment that meets the needs of students and families in this vibrant area.
In ****, the school will cater for approximately 120 Year 7 students and will be capped at 300 Year 7 and 8 students in ****.
When fully constructed on the permanent site in **** it will cater for **** students, including 7 support classes.
About the Role The School Administrative Manager is responsible for the efficient management of school financial and administrative systems, as well as supervision and training of school administration officers.
Manages the provision of support for school activities and routines, including student welfare and wellbeing, and works with the school principal, the school executive and teaching staff as required.
Essential Requirements Working with Children Check Clearance First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake First Aid training.
Administration of Medications - training to be provided based on student needs.
Specific Selection Criteria Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Capacity to supervise staff.
Demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative, organise resources and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to undertake financial and accounting responsibilities including use of computerised financial/administrative systems.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage an office.
Ability to interact with school staff, students and members of the school community.
Knowledge of and commitment to the department's Aboriginal education policy.
