**Frankston Hospital, Peninsula Health, have a position for locum pacing cardiologist.**
**The position involves cath lab access for elective and inpatient cardiac device implantation, pacemaker, CRT and defibrillators. The position would involve one regular session in the Cath Lab for elective cardiac devices and being available on a 2:1 roster for emergency, semi urgent pacemakers.**
**The successful applicant will have completed a Pacing/Electrophysiology Cardiology Fellowship. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of in-patient and out-patient pacing cardiology.**
**Frankston hospital provides an extensive cardiology service to the Mornington Peninsula, performing approximately 250 cardiac devices a year. Peninsula Health Cardiology Department has a current Consultant staff of 12 Cardiologists. We provide an extensive cardiology service to the community with outpatient cardiology consulting, echo labs, a stress test lab and Holter service.
**What You Need**
We anticipate you will have:
- Bachelor of medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) or equivalent
- Registerable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration
- Recognised as an accredited specialist in Cardiology Medicine by the Specialist Advisory Committee of the RACP
- Credentialed in Pacing/Electrophysiology Cardiology
