A leading independent property group is seeking an accomplished and confident
Sales Manager
to lead a large, high-performing sales team. With over 80 agents and associates — including 27 standalone agents managing their own teams — this is a rare opportunity to step into a fast-paced, influential role within a business experiencing significant growth.
This role is suited to a strong operator who combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership. You'll be responsible for driving
Gross Commission Income (GCI) growth
, strengthening agent performance, and recruiting high-calibre talent to expand the group's sales capacity.
The position offers a competitive salary package, including a strong base and performance-based incentives tied to GCI targets.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll oversee the daily performance and development of the sales division. You'll design and execute growth strategies, coach agents through performance challenges, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
This is a fast-moving environment that requires energy, confidence, and a proactive mindset. While the role is primarily Monday–Friday, occasional on-call support may be required for auctions or major business activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 80+ sales professionals
* Recruit and onboard new agents, ensuring smooth integration and early success
* Set, monitor, and drive performance against key metrics including listings, GCI, and conversion rates
* Deliver one-on-one coaching, structured training, and team development sessions
* Conduct regular performance reviews and align results with business objectives
* Manage recruitment pipelines and identify talent opportunities across new markets
* Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams on strategy and compliance
* Track and report GCI and sales performance through CRM dashboards
* Prepare detailed monthly reports and insights for senior management
* Promote a high-performance, supportive team culture
About You
Experienced in managing large, fast-paced sales teams — ideally within real estate or a similar industry
* Strategic and commercially minded, with a focus on outcomes and growth
* A confident communicator and natural leader who can motivate and challenge high performers
* Skilled in recruitment, coaching, and developing future leaders
* Able to balance big-picture goals with the detail needed to drive consistent results
