We are looking for a dedicated Senior LV & Control System Design Engineer to join the team in Newcastle. This role involves designing, programming, and commissioning control systems, with a focus on LV design and automation integration across the industrial, mining and power sectors.

Description
* Develop and implement LV design solutions and control systems for energy projects.
* Conduct PLC/HMI programming and power system studies to ensure system functionality.
* Perform cable sizing and drafting tasks, including SLDs and schematics.
* Ensure compliance with functional safety standards across all projects.
* Oversee commissioning activities to ensure successful project delivery.
* Integrate automation systems and ensure seamless system performance.
* Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to meet project requirements.
* Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Profile
* Strong expertise in LV design and control systems within the mining, industrial and power sectors.
* Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and automation integration.
* Experience in cable sizing, drafting SLDs and schematics, and conducting power system studies.
* Knowledge of functional safety standards and commissioning processes.
* Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
