Job Description
The Senior Tax and Finance Advisor will be responsible for the following but not be limited to:
Preparation of the Consolidated income tax return
Manage transfer pricing compliance
Manage GST compliance
Manage the preparation and lodgement of the FBT return
Monitoring Australian tax instalments and other tax payment requirements
Manage the tax reporting requirements including preparation of periodic tax calculations
Preparation of on-going Shareholder reporting obligations
Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office, to manage tax related issues
Tax advisory: Advise on tax structures, tax implications for potential M&A; etc.
Prepare tax technical papers as required
Ad hoc project work
The Successful Applicant
The Individual should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional tax qualifications or equivalent experience.
Experience in a similar role
CPA, CA, CTA or relevant qualification
Strong communication skills
Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and tax preparation tools.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
