As a Clinical Academic within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and clinical education at the CQUniversity Health Clinic in Rockhampton. This teaching-focused position combines academic delivery with hands‐on supervision, supporting students undertaking Allied Health Assistant training.
Working within a multidisciplinary clinic environment, you will:
* Provide clinical supervision, training, and feedback to students during their practicum.
* Contribute to assessment and unit delivery, and assist in the development of learning materials.
* Support the delivery of client‐centred services aligned with best practice, contributing to safe, high‐quality clinic operations.
Position Requirements
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or a higher‐level qualification in a relevant health discipline with industry experience.
* Demonstrated ability to teach, supervise, and support undergraduate students in a clinical or educational setting.
* Knowledge of academic writing standards, including research, referencing, and assessment practices.
* Strong digital capability, with experience using learning management systems and standard business software.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher‐level qualification in adult or vocational education (desirable).
