About the Role
We are now recruiting for multiple casual Packaging Operators to join our Packaging Operations team based in Rowland Flat, South Australia. In these roles you will develop and begin to apply skills in packaging and perform a range of duties, contributing to the packaging of a high-quality finished product.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate packaging machinery safely and efficiently, following SOPs, PPMs, and manufacturer guidelines.
* Complete required quality checks to ensure all finished goods meet specifications and standards.
* Maintain equipment and work areas, performing housekeeping and basic preventative maintenance.
* Identify, report, and help resolve safety incidents, hazards, and inefficiencies in line with company policies.
* Participate in training, continuous improvement (5 Stars), and problem-solving initiatives to enhance performance.
* Support effective communication through shift handovers, toolbox meetings, and regular team updates.
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience in manufacturing and production operations within a large-scale industrial environment, meeting all skill requirements for Grade 1 Packaging Operations.
* Good communication skills with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
* Holds a current driver’s licence and is flexible to work shift work, weekends, and reasonable overtime as required.
