EXPERIENCED - CASUAL ADMINISTRATOR 20 hours per week
We require a casual who will be flexible and able to cover our holiday and sick leave requirements going forward.
Practice opening hours:
6 days a week Monday to Friday 8.00 am pm weekdays
Every Saturday. 8.45 am till 12:30 pm
Closed Public Holidays.
The successful applicant will be a strong team player who is motivated and enjoys working in a busy environment. Our practice works as a team to provide excellent health care to our clients in a positive and friendly environment. You will be responsible for maintaining our high standard of quality care and customer service, dealing with patients both in person and by phone as well as various administrative tasks related to patient care.
We are seeking a personal who is reliable, enthusiastic, shows initiative, is organised and can be flexible. A very friendly, efficient, organised and adaptable nature is an absolute must.
This is a fast-paced role at the front desk of a busy medical practice and would suit a career focused, tech savvy and computer literate applicant, able to manage multiple tasks with confidence.
Responsibilities will include:
* Meeting and greeting patients in a caring and professional manner
* Booking patient appointments for multiple health care providers
* Ability to work up to 7:00 pm in the evening or start at 7:30 am in the morning
* Organising patient paperwork and ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date
* Arrangement of follow up appointments
* Mail, billing, filing, scanning, allocating
* Making and receiving phone calls
* Typing documents with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
The successful candidate will require:
* Experience in medical reception/administration preferred
* Minimum of 1+ years of medical reception/administration experience
* Knowledge and experience using Pracsoft and Medical Director
* Training will be provided for Pracsoft and Medical Director software systems
* Please note the successful applicant will be required to provide a DCSI clearance certificate.
* DCSI clearance certificate must be obtained within the first month of employment
* Fully COVID-19 vaccinated and able to show evidence of this
* Ability to work Monday to Saturday is essential
* Ability to cover sick leave and annual leave
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to retain information
* Reliability and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work both independently with initiative; and as part of a team
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Enthusiastic and positive attitude
* Well presented
* Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise work load
* First Aid certificate or willingness to undertake first aid training
