This well-known Federal Government Department is seeking an APS6 Senior Program Officer to join one of their branches committed to delivering an impactful program that supports Australia's early childhood education and care workforce. Your new role has become available due to an increase in the workload.
Your new role
As the APS6 Senior Program Officer, you will be responsible for assessing workplace instruments and interpreting the grant opportunity guidelines to provide internal advice, as well as drafting correspondence and briefing materials related to the grant opportunity guidelines.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new role, you will have experience interpreting workplace instruments such as enterprise agreements, awards, and individual flexibility arrangements (IFA's). You will also have:
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities within timeframes.
* The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
* The ability to support grant administration utilising grant policies and procedures.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
