About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting people, culture and capability across Brink's Australia.
You will provide strategic and operational HR guidance to managers and employees, lead recruitment and workforce planning initiatives, support ER/IR matters, and ensure compliance with local legislation and global HR standards.
This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and managers, acting as a trusted advisor to drive a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and optimise the full recruitment lifecycle — from job design and advertising to interviews, selection and onboarding
Support leaders in strategic workforce planning and departmental staffing needs
Oversee payroll process and support payroll officer for fortnightly and monthly payroll processing
Build strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders through accountable and proactive HR support
Develop and execute recruitment plans aligned with departmental budgets
Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR processes, policies and the annual HR cycle
Manage employee relations matters, ensuring timely, fair and compliant resolutions
Maintain compliance with local employment laws, HR policies and Brink's global standards
Manage HRIS records and ensure accurate, legislatively compliant employee data
Contribute to and support global and local HR projects, operational improvements and people-centric initiatives
Develop, modify and implement HR policies and procedures as needed
Analyse HR data and trends to drive improvements in engagement, performance and retention
Support office administration and general HR operations as required
About You
You will bring:
Experience in HR; HR business partnering is highly regarded
Ability to work effectively within matrix structures
Strong organisational, time-management and attention-to-detail skills
A collaborative, professional and solutions-focused approach
Proven ability to work autonomously while partnering effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of HR processes, data analysis, compliance and HR technology systems
