National Builder / Developer of Land Estates and Project Homes is looking for a Melbourne-based Pre‐Construction Operations Manager to oversee the full pre‐construction workflow from Sales to Handover to the onsite team.
Reporting directly to the Senior Management Team, this role is responsible for managing the pre‐site process from signed sale through to site start, ensuring jobs are properly documented, approved and ready to commence in line with construction capacity.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing sales handover and preparation of building contracts.
* Overseeing all pre‐site administration, including titles services, soil tests, surveys, approvals and building permits.
* Leading and coordinating drafting and estimating teams.
* Managing and forecasting the pre‐construction pipeline.
* Tracking job readiness and upcoming start dates.
* Working closely with the Directors to align pre‐construction output with build capacity.
This role will suit someone with:
* Strong pre‐construction or construction operations experience in residential building.
* You must have a clear understanding of the end‐to‐end pre‐site process.
* The ability to manage multiple jobs and competing deadlines.
* Confidence working directly with business owners.
Benefits:
The role is paying $160K + super.
