We are seeking a dynamic and experienced governance professional with strong leadership capability, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven background in governance administration and business support. A focus for this role is leading and developing a small team, driving continuous improvement in meeting management practices, and delivering high-quality support to senior leaders and elected officials.

About Rous

Our new site will bring together all Council operations under one roof, creating a dynamic, collaborative, and future-focused workplace. Located on a spacious 71-hectare site, the facility has been designed with staff wellbeing, sustainability, and operational excellence in mind. Rous has an operational footprint covering 3,000km2. As a county council, we are responsible for providing three specific functions; bulk water supply, weed biosecurity and flood mitigation.

* Providing expert meeting governance advice and support to senior leaders and elected officials
* Overseeing quality assurance of business papers, agendas, minutes and post-meeting actions
* Leading and coordinating your team's workflow to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
* Reviewing and refining meeting management practices, tools and templates
* Preparing reports and correspondence to support compliance and decision making
