Role Overview
This holistic and integrated care position involves providing physiotherapy services to clients in a community-based setting.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Develop individualized care plans to enhance mobility and movement for clients.
* Select and prescribe adaptive equipment as necessary.
* Provide education and training on therapy aspects for clients and caregivers.
* Set goals, manage discharges, and ensure continuity of care.
* Liaise with healthcare professionals to formulate and monitor care plans.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications and current registration with the relevant health authority.
* Prior experience in aged care or community settings is advantageous.
* Exceptional communication skills with ability to build strong relationships.
* Effective time management and clinical problem-solving skills are essential.
* A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
* Ability to meet probity requirements and pass relevant background checks.
* Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly regarded.
