Join our Water & Wastewater team and use your engineering expertise to keep Coffs Harbour's critical infrastructure running safely, efficiently and sustainably.
About The Role
As our Operations Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, managing and improving water and wastewater networks across the city. Every day looks different - from supporting system operations to managing capital works, refining maintenance programs and enhancing safety and compliance across our network.
In This Varied Role, You Will
Deliver and support operational and capital projects across water, wastewater and treatment.
Assist with monitoring and improving water and wastewater reticulation systems.
Prepare estimates and reports for operational and capital works.
Drive continuous improvement across processes, safety documentation and digital technology.
Work closely with internal teams and external regulators to ensure compliance and great outcomes.

About You
We're looking for an engineering professional with the following:
A Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in the operation, management or maintenance of water/wastewater reticulation systems.
Strong project and contract management skills.
Excellent communication and the ability to prepare technical reports and business cases.
A commitment to innovation, collaboration and community-focused service.

Competitive salary from around $114K - $120K (including allowances), depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
