The role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team for local deliveries only. You'll be transporting steel, timber or paper.
This is a hands-on role involving manual yard work. Day time shifts only, and no overnight travel required. The shift time for this role is 6:00am-2:30pm.
About you:
* MC license is preferred, HC license will be considered
* You hold a valid forklift licence, with experience in forklift operation
* You have an MSIC license or are willing to obtain
* You are confident with loading and unloading containers and trucks and with the ability to support load restraints
* You're reliable, responsible and will approach to your working day with a positive attitude
* You can follow instructions, and communicate effectively
* You are willing to be cross trained in different areas of the operation including warehousing and stock take.
* A strong commitment to safety regulations, ensuring the yard and warehouse safety standards are adhered to
* You're open to undertaking other ad hoc duties or tasks as they arise.
