Our Client is an established and growing National larger tier, Commercial Head Contractor they are a construction company specialising in high-quality Commercial Build, Refurb and Fit Out from $5M - $100M. We are seeking a proactive and driven Site Engineer to join a Construction team and support the delivery of commercial projects from site establishment through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to build strong commercial experience while working closely with experienced Project Managers in a collaborative and professional environment. First project: School $100M, 6 months left on programme. Great first project supported by strong SPM and SCA. The Role Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Site Engineer will provide hands-on support across all aspects of commercial project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day engineering and site support to the Project Manager Manage the collation, review, and distribution of shop drawings Review design documentation and resolve coordination issues Prepare and raise RFIs as required Assist with variation assessments in conjunction with the Contract Administrator Review head contractor and subcontractor programs Monitor short-term construction programs and milestones Assist with monthly project reporting Administer defect inspections and rectification works Support IMS and quality assurance processes Collate and deliver as-built documentation and maintenance manuals Attend site, consultant, and subcontractor meetings Assist in managing preliminaries and cost controls Actively contribute to a positive, safety-focused site culture Carry out designated Work Health & Safety responsibilities About You Degree or Diploma in Building Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing and finishes Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work effectively within a site-based project team A proactive attitude with attention to detail and quality Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience using Procore or similar document control systems Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction programs Why Join?
