We operate GP Clinics in Sale, Maffra and Loch Sport.

Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a manner that guarantees a positive first impression.
Manage patient appointments, both in person and over the phone.
Register patients, collect and update their personal and Medicare information.
Process billing and Medicare claims, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Perform debt collection: outstanding balances follow up, handle payment arrangements with account holder.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure privacy and data security.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure seamless operations.
Handle general administrative duties such as scanning, emails, and managing stock levels.
Start of day and end of day procedures (Friday) at Sale Medical Centre
Work in Sale (minimum 3 days per week).
Saturday AM (shared roster)
Requirements
Proven experience as a receptionist or similar.
Knowledge of healthcare system, billing procedures, and Medicare.
Demonstrated experience in debt collection and accounts management.
Skill in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
Familiarity with relevant privacy and data protection regulations.
A friendly and empathetic demeanour, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient service.
