At Horizons Incorporated, we are seeking a skilled Precision Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in producing high-quality parts used in durable labeling and identification systems.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining metal fabrication equipment including laser cutters, punch presses, and die cutters. They will work collaboratively with teammates to prioritize urgent work and troubleshoot issues, ensuring efficient completion of job orders while minimizing rework or downtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC and manual fabrication equipment (laser, punch press, shear, die cutter, etc.)
* Loading/unloading sheet materials and managing scrap
* In-process quality checks using measurement tools
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job proofs
* Documenting completion of work and reporting deviations from spec
* Assisting with minor maintenance and troubleshooting
* Supporting other areas as needed during low-volume periods
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled individual with prior CNC or sheet metal fabrication experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and a strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality are essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent reliability and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to new equipment and processes.
